1 in every 3 shelter residents are children and nearly 70% of those are under the age of 10. These children living in homeless shelters are facing housing and often food insecurity. Moments of childhood joy can be few and far between for the thousands of children experiencing homelessness in the GTA.

As a fully volunteer-run organization with no administrative costs, 100% of every donation directly supports birthday celebrations for children living in homeless shelters.
Birthday Wonders provides personalized birthday celebrations to children experiencing homelessness across the GTA. We celebrate, support and uplift not only the birthday child, but all the children living in the shelter who are invited to participate.
